One Day Introduction to
Glass Art Course

On this introductory one day course students will be guided through all the stages to produce pieces using a variety of techniques.

We start the day with Fusing which will include design, cutting, glass compatibility and decorative applications.

Next students will be shown both Stained Glass and Copper Foiling (Tiffany) techniques. You will be shown how to cut glass, build a design using copper foil or leading, soldering and finishing.

By the end of the day the students would have produced one or two Fused pieces and a Stained Glass or Copper Foil piece.

The cost of this day course is £95 per person.

All necessary materials, tools and equipment will be supplied by your tutor Karen Verma, a successful commercial artist who designs and fabricates commissioned work and who through her courses at her Glassmania Studio and Adult Education at Eastgate, Rochester has inspired many students to learn new and stretch existing skills.

 Classes are kept small to give plenty of individual attention to each student.

The day courses run throughout the year.

Refreshments and a buffet lunch will be provided.
