One Day Copper Foiling Course

This introductory course is for students wanting to do more intricate and detailed work.  This is the technique used to create glass work such as Tiffany lamps.  On our copper foiling course students will produce a sun catcher using detailed patterns.  You will be shown how to cut glass, building the design using copper foil, solder the seams and apply patina and polish the finished projects.

 The cost of this day course is £95 per person

All necessary materials, tools and equipment will be supplied by your tutor Karen Verma, a successful commercial artist who designs and fabricates commissioned work and who through her courses at her Glassmania Studio and Adult Education at Eastgate, Rochester has inspired many students to learn new and stretch existing skills.

 Classes are kept small to give plenty of individual attention to each student.
